This Indenture made the ffirst day of
Aprill Anno dm 1645 And in the one and twentieth
yeare of the rainge of our soverainge lord Charles by the
grace of god of England pr Betweene Richard Heath
of Newcastle under lyme in the county of Staff. Tanner
and Thomas Bagnall of Newcastle under lyme aforesaid
in the said county of Staff yeoman on the one party. And
Richard Boulton of Newcastle under lyme aforesaid
 in the said county of Staff- yeoman on the other parte-
wittnesseth that they the said Richard Heath and
Thoman Bagnall for and in Consideration on of the sume
of ffive shillings of lawfull money of England to them or
one of them in hand paid by the said Richard Boulton
and for divers other good causes and consideracons them
there unto moveinge Have graunted bargagned and
sould and by their presents doe graunte bargaine and
sell to the said Richard Boulton his executors assignes
all that messuages or tenement with the appurtenments xx
comonly called or knoew by the name of the Woodhouse
scituate lying and being in louckton in the parish of
Stoake upon Trent in the said county of Stafff. And
all landes tenements meadowes leasowes pastures
ffeedings woods underwoods mynes quarries wayes
water watercourses pathes passages easements
proffitts comons comodities and hereditaments whatsoever
to the said messuage or tenement belongeing or in any x
wise appertayneing and whith now are or late were
in the tenme or occupacon of Richard Thorley of
Woodhouses aforesaid yeoman and John Heath
of London Strivener of their assignes or undertenments
and all those three cottages or tenements with th appur-
-tenments now or late in the severall tenures or x
accupacons of Margarett Garrison Raphe Adderley
and Raphe Wood of their assignes and all Gardens
orchards and backsides thereunto belonginge
with all and every there appurtenments and the
Revcon and revcones of the said premisses and of
every parte thereof with their and every of thow

appurtenments To haveand to hould the said

with all and every their appurtenments to him the
said Ricahrd Boulton his executors and assignes
from the ffeast of the purification of the blessed
Virgine Mary now last past for and dureinge
and untill the full end and terme Three yeares
then and from thence next and imediately ensueing

and paying therefore yearely dureing the said term
unto them the said Ricahrd Heath & Thomas
Bagnall their heires and assignes the yearely
